PAPER
Specially made for us, virgin fiber cardboard is renewable and recyclable. We have ensured that the raw material comes from well-managed forests, guaranteeing sustainability in the production of the carton. Working closely with our suppliers improves efficiency, transparency and accountability throughout the supply chain. 100% of the water used in paper production is surface water. We use it efficiently, actively closing the circuit to reduce its consumption. We have reduced consumption by 10% since 2017. Before returning to nature, the water is effectively treated.

INK
The printing ink used in the production of PIENNA® books is safe for children - it meets the requirements of standards, including EN 71/3 - regulations for children's products - and CONEG regarding heavy metal standards.

FILM
The film in which the product is packaged meets the requirements of Directive 2004/12/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste containing heavy metals: heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium are not used. We also do not use any materials, articles or substances in the film that contain any of the known allergens that could result in accidental allergen contamination of the products supplied. The film used is so safe that it is approved for food contact.
